Pistachio

Due to the climatic potential of Damghan city, in some areas, pistachio gardens are mainly are established which are desirable. The area of pistachio is 15 hectares and the annual production is 30000 tons.

Grape

Due to the geographical location of the city, over 45 different varieties of grape are cultivated in different areas of Shahrood. Grape cultivars are covered 3000 hectares and their annual production is over 90000 tons. Asgari, laal, shahani, red fakhri, red seedless, can be mentioned among the major type of grapes

Apricot

Apricot is the only major agriculture product of Shahrood, which covers area of 3000 hectares and production rate of 40000 tons for different varieties, where the major type include Ghavami, Jahangiri, Rajabali, jafari and Daneshkadei

Apple

Apple is another major crop that comes at different intervals and even different seasons. Shahrood city possesses the area of 1500 acres of apple gardens and production rate of 26000 tons of different varieties such as golab, red, yellow and gala.

Oleaster powder

oleaster is another crop that cultivates in Shahrood city, also the annual production is 500 tons. Therefore there is a good chance to produce oleaster powder In Iran, the dried powder of the fruit is used mixed with milk for rheumatoid arthritis and joint pains. It is also one of the seven items which are used in Haft Seen or the seven 'S's which is a traditional table setting of Nowruz, the traditional Persian spring celebration.

Oleaster

One region in Shahrood is appropriate for peach producing so that more than 40 hectares of land allocated oleaster garden with the annual production of 500 tons.
